Artistic Director – Joseph J. Buches


Joseph J. Buches was appointed the Artistic Director of the Philadelphia Gay Men’s Chorus in September 2004.

Mr. Buches received a Bachelor of Science in Music Education from West Chester University, West Chester PA, where he studied voice with Dr. Raymond Friday. At Mansfield University, Mansfield, PA, Mr. Buches studied voice with Kim L. Renas, Jack Wilcocks and Jolene Jeffers, and organ with Dr. Kent Hill.

He has done extensive graduate work in conducting at Mansfield University under Dr. Peggy Dettwiler and at Westminster Choir College under Dr. James Jordan. Mr. Buches has also done extensive study in the field of Music Technology through the University of the Arts at Villanova University.

Mr. Buches has served as the Director of Choral Music at The Episcopal Academy in Newtown Square, PA from 1998-2014, and Chair of the Music Department and Director of Choral Music from 2000-2014. In addition, he has served as adjunct vocal music faculty member at Penn State University, Delaware County Campus. Mr. Buches currently serves as music director/organist at Lutheran Church of the Holy Communion, Philadelphia, and organist at Girard College, Philadelphia.

Mr. Buches has performed as a core singer with the Mendelssohn Club of Philadelphia, under the direction of Alan Harler, as well as featured soloist with local area choruses.

Organization Coordinator – Ron Perri


Ron Perri was appointed Organization Coordinator of the Philadelphia Gay Men’s Chorus in August 2015.

Born and raised in South Jersey, Ron spent over 16 years in San Francisco working with a variety of LGBT and other nonprofits before moving back to Philadelphia, including the LGBT Center of San Francisco, Shanti Project, and United Way of the Bay Area. Most recently, Ron served as the Development & Marketing Associate for Mazzoni Center, where he managed events, volunteers and development operations functions. Ron hopes to bring his diverse experience to improve operations and help meet the strategic planning goals that will promote the growth of the Philadelphia Gay Men’s Chorus.

Marketing Manager – Wendy Lambour

Wendy Lambour was appointed Marketing Manager for the Philadelphia Gay Men’s Chorus in May of 2016.

In this role, Wendy works closely with her Marketing Committee to promote and engage PGMC’s mission to the Philadelphia community. A big believer in kindness and acceptance, Wendy supports PGMC with a humble heart.

In 2013, Wendy took on the nonprofit world full-time leading her to Philadelphia and The American Cancer Society. In her role as Distinguished Events Development Manager, she sharpened her background in sales, marketing, leadership and events by spearheading a range of committees to execute successful large scale fundraising events. The City of Brotherly Love and Sisterly Affection has been her home for 3 years, where she continues to merge worlds of entertainment and civic responsibility to build solid relationships and make an impact.

Collaborative Accompanist – Reese Revak


Reese Revak was appointed Collaborative accompanist for the Philadelphia Gay Men’s Chorus in July of 2015.

In addition to being the Collaborative Accompanist of PGMC, Reese Revak is also active as a collaborative pianist and vocal coach throughout the Philadelphia area. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Music Composition from Temple University, with graduate studies in piano accompanying and opera coaching under the instruction of Lambert Orkis, John Douglas, and Alexander Fiorillo. Since 2011, Revak has been on staff at the Curtis Institute of Music as an accompanist and coach. Other engagements have included the Amici Opera Company, Pennsylvania Lyric Opera Theater, the International Institute of Vocal Arts, the Castleton summer music festival and the Philadelphia Opera Collective, which Revak co-founded in 2011 and served as music director, accompanist and resident composer until 2014.

Production Manager – Nick Jonczak

Nick Jonczak was appointed Production Manager for the Philadelphia Gay Men’s Chorus in March of 2016.

Nick is a freelance creative producer and production manager of artistic projects and events ranging in scale and timeline. A 2015 graduate of the Pig Iron School for Advanced Performance Training, Nick also performs and produces work with Almanac Dance Circus Theatre. He serves as the production manager for the non-profit INVISIBLE RIVER, which hosts an annual all-day community event culminating in a live aerialist dance performance on the Schuylkill River with more than 1,000 participants and spectators in attendance. Recently Nick co-founded Seven Engines, a Philadelphia-based producing partnership for independent artists and events.
