Alex Medina

...is a nonprofit communications professional with 18 years of experience working at the intersection of UX, digital strategy, and health. With a deep background in web design, branding, and event production, Alex excels at aligning leadership on vision, crafting compelling impact stories, and transforming complex information into accessible experiences across a variety of platforms and mediums.

After moving to Philadelphia in 2024, Alex joined the Philadelphia Gay Men's Chorus to find community and reconnect with the joy of singing. His dedication quickly translated into leadership, and in 2026, he joined the Board of Directors to help drive PGMC's growth and expand its audience reach.

He currently serves as a Membership Committee Co-Chair—fostering community through social events—and leads the Development Committee’s Event Team, where he helps produce dynamic fundraisers that connect audiences directly to the chorus's mission.

Outside of chorus, Alex is passionate about dance and takes regular classes in house and hip-hop. When he’s not on the dance floor, you can find him cycling, practicing yoga, or playing Magic: The Gathering.
