Tai Joselyn
...is a 28‑year‑old Philly native who’s spent his whole life in the city and feels deeply connected to it — the neighborhoods, the people, the energy, all of it. He grew up with parents who worked in education and nonprofits, so he learned early on what it means to show up for others and to care about the communities you’re part of. That’s shaped a lot of who he is.
Music has always been one of the most grounding parts of his life. He sings in multiple choirs, and those spaces have become where he feels most himself — surrounded by people who understand him, support him, and share the same love for singing. PGMC, especially, has been a huge part of his world for the past 10 years. It’s where he found friends who feel like family, a place where he grew, and a community that made him feel at home.
Joining the PGMC Board wasn’t about a title. It was about giving back to the group that gave him so much. He wants to help keep the chorus welcoming, warm, and full of the same good energy that meant so much to him when he first walked in.
Outside of music and work, Tai loves being outdoors — getting fresh air, walking around the city, and finding quiet moments outside that help him reset. He’s just a Philly guy who loves his city, loves his people, and loves the communities that have shaped him.
